She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Georgia Southwestern State University, then pursued her Doctor of Optometry degree at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences after shadowing and working for her hometown optometrist.
Her professional training includes extensive rotations across the United States in ocular disease, primary care, contact lenses, pediatrics, and vision therapy. She has a special interest in dry eye care, cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes, and other retinal conditions.
Dr. Patel provides full-scope eye care for children and adults, including comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings, myopia management, dry eye management, disease management, and cataract pre- and post-operative care. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, sampling new cuisines, and spending time with friends and family.
