Common questions
Clear answers help you move forward with confidence.
How long does an appointment take?
Most visits are designed to feel unhurried. The exact time depends on your needs and any testing recommended. If you are short on time, tell us when booking so we can plan appropriately.
What should I bring?
Bring your photo ID, insurance card (if applicable), and your current glasses or contacts. If you have medical conditions like diabetes, a medication list is also helpful.
Will my eyes be dilated?
Dilation is recommended when it helps us view the back of the eye clearly. We will explain why it is suggested and what to expect, including temporary light sensitivity.
Can I book for my child and myself?
Yes. Families often schedule together. If you want back-to-back appointments, call the office and we will help coordinate times at the location you prefer.
Can I get a same-day appointment for an eye emergency?
Yes. For urgent symptoms during office hours — pink eye, eye pain, something stuck in the eye, new flashes or floaters within the past 3 weeks, sudden vision change, eye trauma, or chemical exposure — call the location nearest you and we will check same-day openings. After hours, go to your nearest emergency room.
Do you accept walk-ins?
Walk-ins are welcome at our optical shop at both locations for frame browsing, adjustments, and free repairs (even glasses purchased elsewhere). Clinical eye exams should be scheduled to guarantee time with the doctor, but same-day appointments are often available for medical concerns — call to check openings.
