Dr. Bhumi Patel, OD

Dr. Patel earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Georgia Southwestern State University. After shadowing and working for her hometown optometrist, she developed her passion for Optometry. She then went on to pursue a Doctor of Optometry degree at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

Dr. Patel’s professional training includes extensive rotations across the United States in ocular disease, primary care, contact lenses, pediatrics, and vision therapy. She has had training and shows special interest in dry eyes, cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes, and other retinal conditions. Dr. Patel provides a full scope of eye care which includes comprehensive eye exams, contact lens
fitting, disease management, and cataract pre and post-operative care.
